We had such a great time at the lodge. The area up there is absolutely stunning and even though the weather got rough at times we still got out and adventured around. The Cabin was very cozy and it had all the amenities that anyone would need. The running water from the pump made it easy to do the dishes and the solar lights inside were very helpful. We didn’t end up seeing a moose or any bears, but the the birds there were amazing. The first night there we went fishing and caught pike, walleye, and the biggest bass I’ve ever caught in my life. The second day we were up early listening to the loons and later on we went up to see the golden falls, which were beautiful. Last day we did some more fishing but it had appeared that most the bass had moved out of the area across from the cabin (presumably down river). Also the outdoor shower was very refreshing and we had no problems turning it on and off with heat. The only thing that I could see being more helpful is having an anchor rod near the bottom of the stairs to the river to tie the boat off. We ended up tying off on a stump just to the right of the stairs. Other then that we had no problems and everything was awesome.
