Fishing

Cow River isn't remote enough for a fly-in fishing camp, and it isn't as costly either. The time involved in getting here keeps most fisherman from making it a day trip but with a place to stay, you can explore and zero in on the fish. The area is well known for Walleye, Pike, and Smallmouth, and the scenery just captures the essence of what fishing is meant to be like.

Group Outings

Does your church or business need to get away? Great opportunity to re-group, develop leaders, or inspire team-building. We have the space to accommodate your group and a setting that will naturally build trust and shape character.

Hiking, Canoeing

There are plenty of things to explore and discover and one of the most gratifying ways to do that is the way the first traders and explorers experienced this area. There are many waterfalls and tributaries just waiting to be photographed and discovered.

Off Grid Living...

Maybe you just need to disconnect, Cow River Lodge is the perfect place for that. There are no cell towers, and the only tweeting you experience is from the birds. Just peace and tranquility. It is a place where doing nothing is on the list of things to do. Maybe it's time to see what life could be like without all the trappings.

Kayaking

Think of Cow River Lodge as a base camp. The trip from the dam to the camp is 23 miles of inspiring scenery, everything from granite cliffs to remote sandy beaches. Islands, unexplored inlets, and waterfalls mark your progress. Make the trip in one day or camp on one of the sandy beaches along the way. We think this is one of the most gratifying ways to experience Ontario's wilderness.
